Alastair is a commercial and editorial food and drink photographer, based in Scotland, within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh. He came to photography after having worked for over 10 years as a professional chef, cooking in various acclaimed restaurant kitchens.

Passionate about photography, food and the culture surrounding it, he now combines his extensive knowledge of these subjects with his meticulous attention to detail to create beautiful food and drink images, as well as capturing portraits, interiors and location images with the same creative flair.

Alastair is also capable of food and drink styling and is able to cook, style and shoot remotely at his home studio.
